The 2014 World SCRABBLE Championship will be organized under the name “Mind Sports International World Championship” by our partner organization, Mind Sports International. It will take place on November 19–23, 2014 at the ExCeL London Exhibition and Convention Centre under the direction of John Chew.

Please note that this event will differ from past events in at least two key respects:

  • This event is open, and does not have national quotas.
  • This event is being held the year after the 2013 World SCRABBLE Championship, where in the past the event had been held biennially.
