NASPA Zyzzyva 3.2.4 is now available for Windows, macOS, and Linux. It includes NWL2020 and NSWL2020.

October 15, 2020 NASPA Word List 2020 Effective Date

The NASPA Advisory Board decided that the NASPA Word List 2020 Edition (NWL2020) and the NASPA School Word List 2020 Edition (NSWL2020)will take effect at sanctioned clubs and tournaments on January 6, 2021.

July 31, 2020 Recent Committee Changes

• Tournament Committee - Heather McCall became chair, and Margo Kuno joined. Mad Palazzo resigned from this committee as well as the Rules Committee and Membership Committee. NASPA thanks Mad for her many years of service.
• Dictionary Committee - Linda Iannetti replaced Timothy Bottorff.
• International Committee - Mina Le replaced Puneet Sharma as cochair.

Voting for the 2 contested seats - US Midwest and US Northeast - runs from June 1st through June 30th. Heidi Robertson wins the Canada district by acclamation. John Ortman wins the US West district by acclamation.

The 2020 North American SCRABBLE Championship has been been canceled because of ongoing concerns about the coronavirus pandemic.

The NASPA Word List 2018 (NWL2018) is now available in SCRABBLE GO, the new SCRABBLE mobile game.

April 30, 2020 2020 Advisory Board Elections - Nominations are open

Elections for NASPA's Advisory Board (AB) are approaching. This year four elective seats need to be filled:

• Canada
• US Midwest
• US Northeast
• US West
