This page describes local and regional transportation in Addison area, near the 2011 National SCRABBLE Championship venue.


Hotel shuttle

Airport transportation

Transportation to and from either DFW or Dallas Love Field can be obtained through

coordinating with Robin Gates the activities director fun@scrabbleplayers.org

You can also pick up a cab outside of either airport. The cost is $25 to $50.

Car rental

Public transportation

DART or Dallas Area Rapid Transit allows you to access many areas of the

city for just a few dollars. The DART Rail an be picked up in Richardson or

Carrollton and you will be downtown in 15 minutes. The rail runs every

15 to 20 minutes depending on the time of day.

Taxis

Driving: parking, tolls, fuel

The Intercontinental Hotel is on the Dallas North Tollway. The Tollway is now

cashless so you do not need to stop to drop in change.
