In 2021, NASPA was scheduled to hold an election for three members of its Advisory Board (AB) to represent the US South, US West, and At Large regions.

However, with the lack of SCRABBLE play since March 2020, the Advisory Board asked members to vote on whether these elections should be held as planned or postponed for one year.

By a 2/3 majority, members voted to postpone elections. Terms of all AB members will be extended 1 year:

  • Terms scheduled to end in 2021 will now end in 2022.
  • Terms scheduled to end in 2022 will now end in 2023.
