April 10, 2014: GEOCACHE wins the 2014 SCRABBLE Word Showdown

Hasbro announced on Good Morning America that GEOCACHE defeated ZEN to win the showdown. GEOCACHE will be acceptable at the 2014 National School SCRABBLE Championship and the 2014 National SCRABBLE Championship.

March 14, 2014: 2014 SCRABBLE Word Showdown Announced

Hasbro has announced the first ever SCRABBLE Word Showdown; this resulted in a few media hits for NASPA.

February 27, 2014: New Code of Conduct Posted

The NASPA Advisory Board approved a new version of the Code of Conduct. While the new CoC took effect on January 2, 2014, it was just posted to the NASPA wiki, so will only apply for any disciplinary matters arising after February 27, 2014.

February 23, 2014: More to Tweet About

Beginning this month, the Word of the Day and all rated tournaments will be automatically tweeted from the NASPA Twitter account, @NASPA.

January 1, 2014: NSC 2014 Registration Goes Live

Online registration is now available for the 2014 National SCRABBLE Championship.
