Since 2011, some members of the Advisory Board have been chosen by election.

Election History

  • 2011 - Two members were elected to two-year terms.
  • 2013 - Two members were elected to two-year terms.
  • 2015 - Three members were elected to two-year terms.
  • 2016 - Three members were elected to two-year terms.
  • 2017 - Three members were elected to two-year terms.
  • 2018 - Three members were elected to two-year terms.
  • 2019 - Three members will be elected to two-year terms.

Regions

In 2015, the AB moved to six elected members (1 for each of 5 regions and 1 at large seat), and five nominated seats, where outgoing members recommend successors from their region. Other members may be appointed by the Executive Committee.

The regions are:

  • Canada
  • US Midwest: IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MN, MO, ND, NE, OH, SD, WI
  • US Northeast: CT, DC, DE, MA, MD, ME, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VT
  • US South: AL, AR, FL, GA, LA, MS, NC, OK, SC, TN, TX, VA, WV
  • US West: AK, AZ, CA, CO, HI, ID, MT, NM, NV, OR, UT, WA, WY
