NASPA Club 3 is codirected by John Chew and Lisa Kessler. It meets on Wednesday nights from September to June at the Earl Bales Community Centre at 4169 Bathurst Street in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. As of when the NSA transferred authority for clubs to NASPA, Club 3 was the oldest and largest active club in North America.
It hosts its annual open rated tournament on a weekend in September, closes its season with a three-week local club tournament, and usually hosts a smaller weekend tournament in July, coinciding where possible with the qualifying tournament for the World SCRABBLE Championship.
Players pay $3 (discounts available for seniors and students) to play three locally rated games paired tournament-style, and can win up to $12 dollars in prizes.
