The Canadian National SCRABBLE Championship (CNSC) is held roughly every two years, and was last held in 2008. No plans for the next CNSC have yet been announced, other than the qualification system.

Negotiations will take place between NASPA and Hasbro Canada
beginning in November 2010 and likely continuing through
January 2011 concerning the possibility
of Hasbro Canada sponsoring a CNSC in mid-2011.
As of February 17, 2011 are very close to an announcement concerning the 2011 CNSC, and interested players are advised to keep June 10–13 open in their schedules.
