He also won the 2010 National SCRABBLE Championship in Dallas, TX, the 2008 National SCRABBLE Championship in Orlando, FL and the 2007 World SCRABBLE Championship in Mumbai, India.

He has won several other tournaments worldwide, including the 2008 and 2010 World Players Championships.

Nigel Richards, originally from New Zealand, lives in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
