The Canadian Committee is a NASPA committee established to manage matters pertaining solely to Canadian and not American players.

The following people are committee members:

The Committee has the following items on its agenda:

  • Determine how committee members should be elected, and how long they should serve
  • Prepare a qualification system for the Canadian team at the 2011 World SCRABBLE Championship
  • Prepare a qualification system for the 2012 Canadian National SCRABBLE Championship
  • Investigate how NASPA can receive payments in Canadian funds from Canadian directors and players
  • Consider a ratings fee surcharge on Canadian tournaments to help fund Canadian WSC players
