An Assistant Director is a NASPA member who performs directorial tasks for a certified director under the director’s direct supervision, typically because the director does not have Internet access.
While we recommend that all new NASPA directors have Internet access and consult our Directors page frequently, we recognize that this is difficult for some established directors, and that it may be much easier for a director to ask one of their club members to help them with tasks such as applying for tournament sanction, submitting tournament results and processing membership renewals and purchases for their fellow club members.
