The Canadian SCRABBLE Championship will be held at the Ontario Club, on the fifth floor of Commerce Court South, on the north side of Wellington Street West, between Yonge Street and Bay Street. This web page describes how to get there by subway. Please remember that the subway does not start running early enough on Sunday morning to get you there in time for the first round, so you may have to take the Yonge bus instead. If you're taking the bus or the King streetcar, follow the instructions for getting to the tournament by wheelchair or on foot from King Street.
Take the subway to King station on the Yonge-University-Spadina line:
Take the Commerce Court exit, which is toward the south end of the platform:
Once you're past the turnstiles, walk straight toward and through the food court, keeping an eye out for overhead signs guiding you to Commerce Court South.
As soon as you're past the food court, look on your left for glass doors labelled "Commerce Court South". Go through them:
Go up the escalator, or take the wheelchair elevator on the left:
If you're on the stairs, turn around to your left and go up another flight:
At the top of the stairs, turn right and go through the glass door to the Commerce Court South elevator lobby:
Take any of the elevators to the fifth floor:
On the fifth floor, follow directions within the club to the reception room (to the right) or the playing room (to the left).
