The Canadian SCRABBLE Championship will be held at the Ontario Club, on the fifth floor of Commerce Court South, on the north side of Wellington Street West, between Yonge Street and Bay Street. This web page describes how to get there by wheelchair from street level at King Street and Bay Street. If you've parked underground at Commerce Court, follow the instructions for getting there by car instead: there are elevators that alternate for stairs all along your route.
If you look south along Bay Street from its southeast corner with King Street, you'll see the sidewalk split into a flat upper level on your left and a downward sloping part on your right, with an increasing number of stairs between them. Stay on the upper level until a courtyard opens up on your left, with the restaurant Far Niente directly ahead of you. The facade in front of you will feature, looking from left (east) to right (west), a fitness centre:
A health centre:
The building entrance:
And the restaurant Far Niente:
Turn left, walk past Far Niente and go in the building entrance (I do not remember whether the doors have mechanical assistance, but it doesn't look like it):
And then go in the left doors to the elevator lobby:
Take any of the elevators to the Ontario Club on the fifth floor. Once there, follow directions within the club to the reception room (to the right) or the playing room (to the left).
