The Fifth Annual Can-Am SCRABBLE® Challenge took place on May 19-20 in Dallas, TX. Vying in this invitational tournament for the majority of the 98 team points and the Challenge Trophy were the seven top ranking players from Canada and the USA.
The Can-Am SCRABBLE® Challenge has pitted the top players from Canada and the United States against each other since its inception in 2002. The U.S. now leads Canada 3-2 after winning this year's event.
Team members qualified based on their peak rating attained at a fully-rated tournament between the July 1, 2006 and March 1, 2007 NSA ratings lists, after having played at least 24 fully-rated games.
Final qualification standings are now posted. Please e-mail John Chew to report any discrepancies in the standings. Current qualification standings are updated monthly, with the publication of each new ratings list. E-mail John Chew if you aren't listed but want to know where you stand.
Statistics based on past events are also available for each player and team.
