NASPA will assign ratings to North American tournament SCRABBLE® players.

The rating system will be administered by the Ratings and Recognition Committee. Until the rating system and the committee are transferred to NASPA, the ratings will be administered by the NSA.

NASPA tournaments played with the SOWPODS lexicon may also count toward WESPA ratings.

Rating system overview describes how the rating system works at a very high (and not too technical) level.
